Will England gamble ?
It seems that James Anderson's finger is not as bad as first feared, but reports from Cricinfo.com suggest that he was still showing clear signs of discomfort in training yesterday.
The England management, though, are waiting until the last minute to name the final 11 in the hope that Anderson will be fit. Anderson is undoubtably a match-winner on his day as he proved during the 2003 World Cup (sadly, he also proved to be a match-loser when things didn't go so well for him !), but with 4 front-line seamers, all young and seemingly in good form, is it a risk England need to take ?
Certainly England want to be winning today. Canada were never going to be tough competition even for Kenya, but Kenya looked very organised and Tikolo's knock especially must make the loser of today's clash a little weary. Just about ANYTHING can happen in the World Cup, come on boys, get the win today and make sure it doesn't happen to US !
